About

Beplus Site Assistant is a WordPress plugin that adds an AI chat assistant to your site, answering visitor questions from your own content rather than from general knowledge.

What makes it different

Most chat widgets answer from a generic model, which means they invent prices, policies and opening hours with total confidence. This one reads your actual pages first, answers from what it finds, and shows the visitor the sources it used.

The second half of the idea is on the admin side. Every conversation is kept, and one press turns them into a plain answer to a question most sites never manage to answer: what should we put on the website next? The subjects people ask about are your content plan, and the ones your site cannot answer are your missing pages.

Who it is for

• Small businesses with a handful of pages who want support questions answered without hiring anyone
• Agencies running several client sites — the FAQ list and settings can be exported and reused, and the Embed Script screen puts one assistant on both WordPress and non-WordPress sites
• Anyone whose site is mostly static — the content is already there, it just needs to be answerable

What it is not

• Not a replacement for a human on anything that matters. The assistant answers factual questions from your site; it escalates by email, not by taking decisions.
• Not a live chat product with operators on the other end. It answers by itself around the clock.
• Not free to run if you use a paid AI provider — every question is a small call to that provider. The Security & Limits tab exists to cap that cost.

Privacy

• Your API key is stored on your server and is never sent to a browser. The settings screen can replace it but cannot display it back.
• Your content goes to whichever AI provider you configure, and to no one else. In Custom endpoint mode, that is a provider you chose yourself.
• Conversation data is stored in your own database. Nothing is deleted automatically, and nothing is sent anywhere except to your chosen AI provider and, if you turn it on, to your notification email.
• Visitor names and emails are only collected if you switch on the lead form. They are stored with the conversation and emailed to the address you set.
